Barbara Dry

Mrs. Barbara Rice Dry, 73 of Green Acres Cr., Concord, passed away, Thursday, November 21, 2013 at CMC-Northeast. Graveside service will be 1:00pm Monday, Nov. 25, 2013 at Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis, officiated by Rev. Tom Fleming. The Dry family will receive friends from 11-12pm Monday at Gordon Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant. Mrs. Dry was born January 5, 1940 in Cabarrus County daughter of the late Charlie R. Rice and Viola Glades Rice. She retired in 2005. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Eugene Dry in 2007 and a sister Bethenia "Pat" Hough. Survivors include her children, Rodney Dry of the home, April Dry of Concord, Brian Dry of Concord, four sisters, Abbie Upright of Rockwell, Mary Shields of Norwood, Sally Crayton and Dorothy Sutton both of Concord and one brother, Charlie Rice of Rockwell.
