Adam Stuart Fink, a son of John Lee Fink & Deborah Poteat Fink & younger brother of Bradley Nelson Fink died Saturday, September 29th. He was 37 years of age. Adam was a Christian & knew God intimately.
Born October 10th, 1980, Adam called Nashville home for the past twelve years, enjoying a career in tobacco sales & in recent years was Director of Sales for Healthy Seeds & Nuts, LLC. He was always ready to welcome friends & family for impromptu visits to "Music City". A graduate of Mount Pleasant High School, Adam attended East Carolina University from 1999-2002. Traveling was a vital part of Adam’s life & he experienced many destinations, both domestic & international, although there was so much more he yearned to see.
Adam was predeceased by paternal Grandfather, John Lee Fink Sr. & cousins, Benjamin Tyler Poteat, Caitlin Johnston Stokes & Dale Williams.
Surviving Adam are Grandparents, Barbara Fink, Nancy Fisher and Ken and Evelyn Poteat. Also, admired Great Uncle, Alan Fink & wife Susie of Newell, Aunts and Uncles-Paul & Sharon Campbell, Kenny Poteat, Annette & Tim Furr, Jody & Keith Johnston, Tim Poteat, Mark & Kelly Fink & Julie & Kelly Nickelson. He also leaves behind girlfriend of three years, Maranda McGeary & their beloved rescue “Reba” & special friend, Hannah Lowder Morgan & children Maverick & Lynna. Adam's memory will be forever alive in the hearts of many cousins & most especially that of Paul Campbell, cousin & best friend.
A celebration of Adam’s life will be held at Calvary Lutheran Church, 950 Bradley St NW, Concord, NC 28025 on Tuesday, October 2nd at 3pm, officiated by Reverend Deborah Frye & assisted by Pastor Rick Durham. Receiving will follow service in the church fellowship hall.
Adam was confident in his treatment at Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center in Nashville for 27 months prior to returning home in June. The family wishes to thank local physicians, Dr. Charles Rhodes & Dr. James Wall for their unwavering support & Hospice staff, particularly Pastor Rick Durham, Brooke Eury & Adrienne Greene for their guidance & compassion shown.
