Robert Farrar

Mr. Robert Ray Farrar, 77 of Pine Cross Dr., Mt. Pleasant, went to be with our Lord and Savior on January 3, 2013 at his residence. No services are scheduled at this time. Mr. Farrar was born January 27, 1935 in Chicago Heights, IL son of the late Melvin and Marie Jurgenson Farrar. He was a Staff Sergeant in the US Air Force from 1954-1958 serving in Okinawa. He was a Journeymen Electrician and a member of Local 134 in Chicago. He was the owner-operator of American Commercial Appliance Service, INC for 25 years in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, he retired in 2000. He and his wife moved to Mt. Pleasant in 2005. He was preceded in death by a sister Karen Cavanaugh. He is survived by his wife Ruth Clapham Farrar, son Douglas Farrar, daughter Katharine Huzor, six grandchildren, David, Joseph and James Huzor, Matthew, Daniel and Emma Farrar.
